The Saltwater Drain
I took this down behind the saltwater swimming pools at The Entrance Beach, NSW, Australia. The overflow of these pools drains straight back into the ocean. It took me a while to find the right angle, I was trying to be quick so the sun wouldn’t come up too much. I ended up climbing over the rails and walking up this drain, it had hundreds of oysters in it so it was a bit sketchy as had no shoes on.When I eventually set up the sun had a nice glow coming in from the side. Im pretty happy with the result.

A 13 HDR image panorama of Bondi Beach, NSW, Australia.
To take this shot I mounted the camera on my tripod, tilted it to portrait orientation, took 3 shots of each scene to make into HDRs, and continued until I had captured as mush as needed.
I combined the 3 exposures of each scene with Photomatix, and merged the finished HDRs with Photoshop CS4.

The rockshelf at Terrigal, NSW, Australia early one morning.
I got up before sunrise this particular morning, turned out it was a false alarm. But instead of going back to bed I decided to go down to the beach and take some shots.

Letting some fireworks off at our friends farm at Pearces Creek, NSW, Australia.
The old car in the foreground was an old school Toyota Corona, we thrashed it around all week and couldn’t kill it.

A shop owner stays warm inside his little hut of usefulness whilst another man stands in the rain. This was an freezing cold day in Sydney, and the constant shower made it so much more miserable.I was walking around looking for something to photograph when I saw this man in the hut, he looked very cosy so I tried to get the shot to show the contrast between the outside and in. Flight Paths Shifted
I took this shot at an unnamed park at Sydenham. The planes fly straight overhead to land at Sydney Airport. In the middle to the park was this pavilion type thing that had these newspaper prints about the trouble the planes were causing to the locals. I thought it would be interesting, to capture a plane coming in to land with the newspapers in the foreground. Pretty ironic.
